The Chlamydia Postal Kit involves a plain brown envelope being sent to your address you will be asked to fill out the laboratory form (a leaflet explaining this is enclosed in the envelope).

Then you provide the sample which is:

Women: A self-taken vaginal swab, details are supplied with the kit. Do not take the swab if you have vaginal bleeding;
Men: A urine sample, preferably the first urine of the morning after waking up. Otherwise do not pass urine for 2 hours before providing your sample.

When your kit has arrived there will be included everything you need to take the Chlamydia test. Please read the instructions carefully before you start. If you have any problems with the kit please call the Chlamydia Screening Office on 0844 800 4846 Mon- Fri 10-4pm
